Having a garage sale selling away your unused garage items; be it old or new will help you pay some bills. If you do not need the items in your house, why not sell them away through your own garage sale rather than letting them collect dusts, right.

If you plan to setup your own garage sale, you will need to know if your area requires you a permit to do so, this is very important, I believe you don’t wish to get into some legal issues. As far as I know, some city limits or suburbs will allow you to have a garage sale only once a year for free and as for some other areas you will need to get a permit to do it and also do check out how many times you can be allow to have your own garage sale per year.

When everything is set and ready for your sale, do not display your garage items too late. Start displaying your garage items as early as you can in the morning to get more sales for the day.

Remember to put your signs readable by all pubic vehicles and also the drivers that drive pass your garage sale. Some garage sign might be just too small to read and will cost you to lose some buyers.

Organize your garage items that are selling in your sale so that it looks more attractive, clean and represent able to look around with your garage items on display for sale.

You do not need to put up price tag on your garage items to attract more buyers to stop in your Garage Sale. But if you are lazy to keep answering the buyers about the prices then put on the prices.
